What is Cardio Tennis?

Cardio Tennis is a fun, social, group tennis-fitness program for people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels. It’s more about getting a great, high-energy workout than it is pure tennis technique, however there is still technical and tactical advice to ensure your game keeps improving.

 

It is enjoyed best with friends, so if you want to make your own group at a time that suits you we can arrange it with a minimum of four players (max six). Otherwise we have plenty of times and therefore positions available.

 

Cardio Tennis is instructed by a qualified Tennis Coach and includes the use of fun and exciting coaching/workout tools that encourage development of your game and coordination, whilst again keeping that heart rate up. Sufficient breaks are still applied and sessions can be modified to tailor for individual needs.

Who can play Cardio Tennis?

ANYONE CAN PLAY CARDIO TENNIS

You do not need to be good at tennis to get involved. In fact, it doesn’t matter if you have never played tennis before and don’t have a tennis racquet. All equipment is provided and the Cardio Coach can cater to all ages, tennis abilities and fitness levels.

Circut Based Training

From agility ladders to step-up platforms, to forehand running drills to volley games, you are always on the move at Cardio Tennis! A variety of circuits are used to keep your heart rate up, fine tune those tennis skills as you are still hitting the whole time with drills and point play, whilst maintaining the fun.

Heart Rate Monitors

We provide heart rate monitors to track your progress during the workout as well as enabling the Cardio Coach to manage the session according to your fitness level. Maximise calories burnt but manage how hard you want to go by keeping an eye on your heart rate. That's why Cardio Tennis is suitable to all fitness levels - You back off or push yourself harder when you feel necessary, but your Cardio Coach is also there to guide & encourage you along the way.

Workout to a Beat

Did you know that people work 33 per cent harder and their endurance improves 15 per cent if they train with music? That's why we provide music for you to workout to, to keep you motivated and having fun. You'll work harder than ever before but enjoy it more, in fact the time goes by and most players haven't stopped laughing!

Socialise
