Tennis in Schools

MUSTA runs the Tennis Australia ANZ Hot Shots program in schools for all the different ages and grades.  The program introduces thousands of young players to tennis with many going to take up coaching outside of school and progress into competition tennis.

MUSTA is a proud supporter of many local primary schools, regularly attending school fetes and supporting fundraising events. MUSTA also offers all coaching services and facility free for Graduation and fun days.

Before school lessons are also offered in the mornings on school premises from 8.00-8.45am all year round.  This has proven to be a great option for students and parents that require before school care or students that can’t fit tennis into their after school schedule.

Each player receives a free promotional tshirt and also drink bottle.

MUSTA’s local primary schools include:

Malvern Central Primary School

St Josephs Primary School

Rowville Primary School

Karoo Primary School

Heany Park Primary School

Park Ridge Primary School

St Simons Primary School

MUSTA is also the Director and 1st Coach at Scotch College in Hawthorn, lessons can also be arranged at Scotch College.

MUSTA also runs an integrated Tennis and educational program with Rowville Secondary College where players wishing to become high performance players can enter the Academy and be involved in 4 squads weekly during school hours as part of their curriculum.
