Specialises in Hot Shots tennis and Private lessons.

Pete has been playing tennis from the age of 4 years old and has competed in numerous national ranking tournaments in Victoria.


Pete has a strong passion for sport and skill acquisition having studied a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Human Movement and Psychological Studies at Victoria University, as well obtaining his Certificate 3 in Fitness.  

Pete also studied at the German Sports University were the focus was on Human Physiology, Skill Acquisition, Motor Learning, Mental Coaching and Advanced Resistance Training.  Here he also worked with Ironman World Champions and other world class German athletes.

Pete has also worked at the Tennis Australia Academy in Skill Acquisition and the AIS AFL Academy testing for players.

Pete has been coaching tennis for 6 years and specialises in junior development and the Hot Shots program.  Pete is also very experienced in private lessons, cardio tennis and fitness sessions.

Motivation to coach: I love having the ability to make a difference in people’s lives by helping them enjoy playing the great game of tennis.  It is great teaching kids new skills and seeing the smiles on their faces, while at the same time developing my own skills as a coach.


Worst habit: Putting sweet chilli sauce on every meal.

Advice that has stuck with you or quote that you live by: When I was 5 years old my mother told me that happiness is the key to life.  When I went to school they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.  I wrote down happy.  They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them that they didn’t understand life.
